About Beyond Words Therapy Clinic

Beyond Words Therapy Clinic, PLLC, is a pediatric speech and language therapy clinic serving Milan, Medina, and the surrounding communities. We provide individualized therapy services to children 0 to 18 years of age utilizing a child-led, play-based therapy method. We honor all forms of communication, whether it is verbal, nonverbal, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), gestures, pictures, and more, while recognizing that communication extends BEYOND WORDS. Our mission is to help children become confident and effective communicators!

Kimberli Moore

Kimberli was the executive director of the West Tennessee Hearing and Speech Center from 2009 until March 2024 where she provided direct speech therapy, advocating and leadership abilities to the West Tennessee community. 


Kimberli earned her master’s in speech-language pathology from Murray State University. She brings a wealth of experience to Beyond Words, having worked as speech therapy director at Therapy & Learning Center (formerly Cerebral Palsy Association) and as rehabilitation director in West Tennessee nursing homes. Kimberli was the executive director of the West Tennessee Hearing and Speech Center from 2009 until March 2024 where she provided direct speech therapy, advocating and leadership abilities to the West Tennessee community. Her favorite thing about coming to work is taking part in each patient’s journey and ensuring that each patient feels heard.


Kimberli feels fulfilled working as an SLP, searching out functional strategies and caregiver support for each person who enters the clinic. She feels it’s important to have a place for speech treatment where every person is treated with dignity and respect. 


Kimberli’s hobbies include caring for rescue animals, raising chickens, and completing DIY projects for her 1906 home. She has two adult children with her husband of 34 years and describes a perfect morning as drinking coffee with him on the front porch.
